THERESA'S HOUSE OF CARDS IS ABOUT TO COME CRASHING DOWN around her, and
when all is said and don, Whitney ends up in the doghouse, and Theresa in the
jailhouse.
After Ethan unknowingly kisses her hand at the movie theater Theresa's
interest in the Crane heir goes into overdrive, as she becomes convinced that
she and Ethan are destined to be together.  To that end, when she and Whitney
see Ethan and Gwen eating at the Chicken Coop, Theresa decides it's time to
explain the truth to Ethan, but a surprise compliment from him halts her
plans.  "I go in and see a girl working there whom I worked with at the
Burger Hut that I burned down," says Lindsay Korman with a laugh, in
character as Theresa.  "I tell her I need a favor, and so I borrow her
Chicken Coop outfit: this huge mask with a big feather.  I go up to Ethan,
and he looks at me and sees my eyes and says, 'Oh, my god, I remember the
poem, '"the poem he wanted to recite to Gwen but couldn't remember -- until
now.
While Theresa and Ethan continue to have close encounters all week,
Ethan's crackerjack P. I., Frank, closes in on Theresa.  He gets a big break
in the case when Frank has another flirtatious encounter with Whitney, when
he asks her for a quick tennis lesson at the country club.  "Whitney has
these pictures of us that I had gotten developed and they fall from her bag.
Frank sees them and grabs a picture of the two of us together," Korman
explains.  "He says, 'Oh, my god.  Whitney knows her, and Ivy's secretary is
this girl in disguise,'"
After putting two and two together, Frank shops the picture all around
town trying to nail down Theresa's identify.  After making a positive ID on
her at Harmony High, Frank confronts Whitney about her duplicity, then makes
a beeline to the Crane mansion, where he prepares to apprehend Theresa.

THERESA IS FORCED TO say good-bye to her dream of becoming Mrs. Ethan Crane, this week on Passions, when she
overhears her beloved say nothing romantic will ever happen between him and Theresa.

In addition to having to deal with a broken heart, Theresa may also be facing unemployment. At that moment, Frank is telling
Ivy that Theresa is indeed Ethan's stalker. Though Ivy refuses to believe it, she summons Theresa and Ethan to the living room,
hoping to prove Frank wrong. Theresa realizes that she is trapped, and Ivy warns her that should Ethan identify Theresa as his
stalker, Julian will force Ivy to fire Pilar. Distraught and terrified, Theresa makes a passionate plea on her mother's behalf, then
attempts to escape before Ethan arrives.

Upstairs, Ethan is shocked to learn that his stalker is in the house; he reassures Gwen that he intends to punish his stalker to the
fullest extent of the law. Then, and only then, can he propose marriage to Gwen with no interference. Travis Schuldt (Ethan)
explains, "I think Gwen is a little insecure about their relationship, yet Ethan is completely oblivious to that fact. Ethan believes
that once the stalker case is behind them, he and Gwen can focus on their relationship instead of Ethan looking over his shoulder."

But when Ethan is introduced to his stalker, Theresa, and Pilar walks into the room, he has second thoughts about identifying
her. Ethan knows Theresa's arrest would result in Pilar's firing, and Ethan has always adored Pilar. Ethan feels a sense of loyalty
toward her. "Pilar's like a second mother to me. She's had a lot to do with my life growing up," Schuldt says, in character.
"What's going on in Ethan's head at the moment he finds out is, he's very conscious of what Theresa has done to him, but
chooses not to react to it based on Ethan's relationship with Pilar."

Afterward, Pilar and Whitney explain to Ethan that Teresa is accident-prone, but Ethan is skeptical. Schuldt continues, "He's
afraid she's still crazy, and the only way to prevent anything from happening again is to have her never run into him again."
Theresa doesn't tell him that she's in love with him. Privately, a grateful Theresa thanks Ethan for not having her arrested, and
tries to make a quick exit. Ethan takes her aside and warns her he doesn't ever want to see her again. Theresa flees the Crane
mansion in tears, struggling to give up her dream of marrying Ethan.
