The Ex-Files
When the subject of Mulder and and Scully's love life comes up people often ask the question what love life? Well Mulder and
Scully have had the occasional fling, crush and past love experience. Here are the MulderBabes and ScullyHunks that have
made all us shippers realize that the best thing for Mulder and Scully is to be with each other.

                           The MulderBabes

The Dreaded Ex

Agent Diana Fowley is perhaps the biggest threat to Mulder and Scully's relationship. Either she's his ex-wife, his ex-mistress or
a really intense ex-fling. Either way she's trouble. She is working against Mulder at every turn and obviously has a thing going
on with Mulder's arch enemy CGB Spender aka CSM.

                                                                                  The Old Flame

Before The Fowl One came on the scene it was generally believed that Phoebe Greene was the great love of Mulder's life. She
and Mulder dated when they attended Oxford. Mulder was extremely smitten with Phoebe, but she was more interested in
playing mind games with him. She almost got Mulder back into her web in "Fire", but he caught her in a clinch with another man
and wised up for good.

The Vamp

Kristen Killer has the distinction of being the only woman that Mulder has been shown getting intimate with on screen. Feeling
lost after Scully's abduction in "Duane Barry" and "Ascension" Mulder heads to L.A. in "3" to help solve a case involving serial
killers that claim to be vampires. Needless to say Mulder lets his limbido rule his better judgement throught this episode and
Kristen bites the dust in the end.

"The Soulmate"

Melissa Ephisean was a terribly disturbed woman who claimed to be Mulder's soulmate and claimed that they had been
together and in love in each lifetime in "The Field Where I Died." Desperate for some form of human connection, Mulder
underwent hypnotic regression and "remebered" that Melissa's claims were true. He aslo "remembered" some facts that couldn't
possibly be true because they didn't fit into the Xfiles time cannon. She committed suicide at the end of the episode with her
husband and his cult followers. Scully diagnosed her as being scizo and she was probably right. Besides everybody knows that
Scully is Mulder's true soulmate.

The Uninterested Crush

Mulder meet Dr. Bambi Berenbaum (yes her name is Bambi) when he was investigating supposed attacks by killer
cockroaches in "War of the Coprophages". Mulder was instantly smitten, he even let her call him Fox!, but Bambi was not
interested, In fact, she walked off into the rain with an older, disabled, but brilliant scientist and didn't even give Mulder another
look.

The Horney Beast
Det. Angela White had "I want you" written all over her. Know in her defense she was under the influence of some planetary
weirdness in "Syzygy" but she was flirting with Mulder with wild abandonment, worse he was flirting back. Needless to say
Scully caught them and was not amused.

"The Confused Weather Girl"

Sheila Fontaine spent her entire life looking for love in all the wrong places. Every man that she fell in love with either left her
and/or treated her like dirt, except for her best friend Holman. So when Mulder and Scully come to her town to investigate her
former fiancee, a man claiming to be "The Rain King," she chooses to ingnore Holman and falls for Mulder!!!. Of course,
Mulder does everything he can to help Holman catch Sheila's eye and after some good advice from Scully Sheila decides to
give a romantic relationship with Holman a chance. After they come together Mulder asks Holman how it felt to finally come
clean about his feelings. Holman replies to Mulder that he should try it sometime. Boy should he ever.

"The Internet Wolf Babe"

Karen Burcawhists was a women who loved to study canines. She and Mulder conversed on-line and when a spree of murders
that she knew would peek Mulder's interest began in her area she called Mulder in order to meet him. Although Scully could
tell that Karen liked Mulder, Mulder as usual was oblivious. After realizing that lying to Mulder was wrong she confronted the
man/beast that was responsible for the deaths; saving Mulder who she had sent to the wrong location.

  The ScullyHunks

"The Cutting Room Floor Boyfriend"

Ethan Minette was a lobbyist who was suppose to be Scully's boyfriend in the pilot. Although Ethan didn't make it in the pilot
and was never mentioned, he is in the script and in the pilot novelization. Their relationship was described in both as anything
but warm or close so I'm going with the theory that they were a pre-Xfiles item. Scully, however, dumped him upon meeting
Mulder not because she wanted to get with him, but because she liked spending her time with Mulder and their work more than
she liked being around Ethan. That's my theory and I'm sticking to it.

                                                                             "The Boring Date"

Determined to have a life outside of Mulder and the Xfiles, Scully decides to resurrect her dormant social
life by going out with a divorcee named Rob in "The Jersey Devil." Scully soon finds out, however, that
dating a "normal" guy is boring and practicaly jumps at the chance to go help Mulder when he calls for
her assistance during her date. After the case is over Scully decides not to see Rob anymore, perhaps
realizing for just about the first time that maybe her life is with Mulder and the Xfiles now.

The One Night Stand

Ed Jerse has severe emotional problems when Scully meet him in "Never Again." Freaked out by the prospect of having
cancer, and fed up with Mulder, Scully decided to seize the day and accept a date with a strange man. Unfortunately for Scully,
Ed was bitter about his divorce and started hallucinating that his newly aqcuired tatoo was talking to him, driving him to kill one
woman and attack Scully. Scully escaped the attack and Ed was carted off . The experience left Scully with a tattoo and a little
wiser.

                                                                                   The Ex-Lover

Jack Willis was Scully's ex lover. Obsessed with a case he pursued a modern day Bonnie and Clyde until he was shot in one of
their hold ups in "Lazaraus". Although Scully thought she had saved him, he died and his body was taken over by his enemy
Dupre. Dupre took Scully hostage, but the situation came to a head when Dupre/Willis killed his wife Lula and himself.

The Lovestruck Sweetie

Agent Pendrell was a lab technician with a major crush on Scully. He died saving her life by taking a bullet meant for her in
"Max."

                                                                                       The Jerk

Tom Colton was a friend of Scully's from the academy and a real jerk. He requested her help on a case over lunch during
"Squeeze" and was miffed when she brought Mulder into it.This guy was obviously trying to get with Scully and his arogance
and ineptness nearly cost Scully her life and almost let Tooms get away.

The Hunky Sheriff

While investigating a case that Mulder is sure involves vampires in "Bad Blood" Mulder and Scully meet up with local law
enforcement Sheriff Hartwell. Although this episode is told from two different points of view, in both Scully is obviously smitten.
And Mulder is obviously jealous enough to describe the Sheriff as a buck-toothed dummy. He also turns out to be a vampire.
Can Scully pick em or what?

Faux Mulder

Eddie Van Blundht was a born loser. He was also born with a tail and the ability to morph into any man
he wanted to. Eddie has used this abiltiy to pretend to be women's husbands, boyfriends and greatest
fantasies. In "Small Potatoes" he takes Mulder's form and visits Scully's apartment, wine bottle in hand.
After getting Scully to relax and open up he moves in for the kiss. Scully isn't encouraging him, but she
sure isn't fighting him either. Unfortunately the real Mulder barges in before we could see if Scully wanted
that kiss!

                                                                                The Anti-Mulder

Mulder finds himself with yet another man who wants his life in the Xfiles two-part comedy
"Dreamland." Man in Black Morris Fletcher thinks that his prayers have been answered when he finds
himself wifeless and childless and in the body of one damn good looking man -- Agent Fox Mulder.
Mulder and Fletcher have switched bodies due to a rip in the time continium and Fletcher leaves Mulder
stranded in suburban hell while he lives the high life as a newly single guy. He seduces Kersh's bimbo
secretary and sets his sights on Scully. He even turns Mulder's never before seen bedroom into a den of
love complete with waterbed and overhead mirror! Of course Scully is onto him and quickly pulls her sig
out after she tricks Morris into chaining himself to the bed. She may have been playing Morris but you
have to admit that she really sort of looked pleased when she saw her and Mulder's reflection in that
overhead mirror.

"The Lovelorn Writer"

Paget was a writer who became obsessed with Scully at first site. He decided to write about her, moving
into Mulder's apartment just to be near her. His longing however, took on a life of its own when his
character came to life and started stealing hearts. Paget made overtures to Scully, but Scully rejected him.
Paget eventually figured out that Scully was in love with Mulder and dejected almost had his character kill
her. He changed his mind at the last minute, throwing his book into the flames in order to give Scully a
chance at life with Mulder. He apparently commits sucide happy with the knowledge that he was giving
Our Duo a chance to love each other.
